Oh my!

Has it really been 2 weeks since I last blogged??? I can't believe I have let so much time go by! I guess it's obvious that my time on the computer has been limited somewhat =)

I'm going to have to try and do better about this, but there truly has not been much exciting going on. I get up at the crack of dawn, go to work, come home and try to catch up on things that need to be done, then I go to bed. My life right now does not lend itself to very exciting blog material!

It is time for another memory verse, although I must admit that I really did not work on my last one as much as I should have, so I will continue to memorize it as well as the new one.

The verse that I chose this time is....

"For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone." Psalm 91:11-12 (NIV)

I know that I will find myself meditating on this in the days ahead as Chad is away on his mission trip to Brazil. We have NEVER been apart for more than a few days and I am missing him SOOOO much!

I do covet your prayers for him, and his team, as they are traveling down the Amazon River...for their health, wellness, safety and protection and that God would work in amazing ways in their lives and the lives of all that they will encounter. I can't wait to hear about all the ways that God showed Himself on this trip!

I am trying to stay caught up with your blogs, but please forgive this bad blogger for getting behind! I hope that you all are doing well!

  5. I think you and I are on the same blogging schedule lately! I just cannot seem to make time for all the things I have to do. I have been a terrible blogger recently!

I talked to Chad today before he left and I will definitely be praying for him (and you) while he is gone. I cannot wait to hear about all the exciting things that he and his team are going to experience. Hope they take lots of pictures!

I know they are going to come back and get us even more "pumped" about our September trip!

    I love you,
    Mom

  8. Hi Faith! Praying for you while your man is away...one of my coping tricks while Trav is out of the country or on a long trip is to do all things "Stephanie" while he is gone! I watch girly movies, I treat myself to fun take-out, I buy magazines I want to read and take them to Starbucks, etc., etc. I do all the things that I want to do but never do because Travis would rather do something else! I see it as my little personal vacation :) It may be pathetic, but it gets my through the days!! I am asking the Lord to BLESS you while Chad is gone and make those days fly by!! Hang in there girl :)
