And, I love having the chance to meet them in person! I heard from my sweet friend Mandi a couple of weeks back that she would be coming through my city on their way to the North Carolina mountains for a vacation. I was so excited that I was finally going to get to meet her face to face and squeeze her neck!
It was such an encouraging time for me to be able to share my "true colors" with her and know that she understands what I'm feeling because she's been there too. She can relate to where I am now, but can also testify to what it's like on the other side and encourage me to not lose hope. If you've ever heard Beth Moore's teaching on gentleness from the Fruit of the Spirit Bible study then this will make sense to you ,and if not, sorry! Where my heart is wounded right now in our struggle to become parents, Mandi's bears the scars. She knows what this pain is like, but God has worked healing in her life and He used her to minister to me in such a special way. There is such power in the word of our testimony!
Mandi, I'm so thankful that the Lord brought us into each others lives and I'm already looking forward to the next time we can meet!
That is sooo neat. I just love what the Lord has done through blogging and connecting hearts.
ReplyDeleteI am praying, praying, praying for you and Chad.
Meeting you is something I've wanted to do for a LONG time! I'm so glad God had that planned for us long before we ever knew each other and I cannot wait until we are face to face again! Now you have me ready to do the Fruits of the Spirit study...sign me up! :) Love ya!
ReplyDeleteI sure do hope we get to meet and hug in person someday!!! You are on my mind every single day and in my prayers more often than that. Claiming God's promises for you!
ReplyDeleteHi Faith! I am a lurker. I came to your blog via Deidre (she and I go to the same church). I am praying for you! Just wanted to let you know that! I walked thru infertility too and you just have "that" connection with other people who can emotionally, physically, psychologically relate to every single emotion. I just wanted to let you know I am praying...and I know God has something so very special in store for you. Unfortunately, it's only in hindsight when you can exhale and say it was SO worth the wait.
ReplyDeleteFaith,
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet time it sounds like you had. I'm glad God brought you together and that she is a huge encouragement to you.
Thank you for e-mailing me back a few weeks ago about Christmas cards. I found a Christmas card for this year, but I still love yours from last year. :-)
Blessings,
Carol
what a blessing to meet and share!
ReplyDeleteHi Faith-
