Raleigh Bound

This afternoon we will hit the road to Raleigh for the last stop on the Unashamed Tour. Maybe I haven't mentioned this before, but I love me some rap and r&b music. ;-)

A couple of years ago we were introduced to Lecrae's music and absolutely love it. His lyrics are full of truth and theology and I'm so thankful there are artists like him to capture our young people. His new record, Rehab, has been on constant replay lately. E even has a few songs that she loves and we rock out when she's in the car with us. Heehee!

I will probably be the oldest and whitest girl there tonight, but I don't care!

Also, something you must check out: A family friend of ours has co-produced this song and 100% of the proceeds will help build an orphanage in Sudan. You can download it here.

  3. I'm so old - I've never even heard of this artist, but like you - I love that there are all types of music to reach our young people! I'm just picturing you & E jamming to some rap music and it makes me smile. :)

Have fun at the concert, yo.

    That was me being cool.

    Hahaha!

  4. I love Lecrae :-) because it's the only non-ridiculously-inappropriate music I can get our kiddos to listen to in my car! ps - I am about to post a giveaway on my blog for a Christian rap EP from one of our camp counselors :-)
