The Lady that's 80!

Right before New Years I traveled with my mom and my niece to visit our family in Georgia. Of course, no visit to Georgia is complete without a little pit stop here.

You can even buy the chili now, so I picked up a can for my man who wasn't able to join us on this trip. Mmmmm!

Another stop for us was P0peyes. We planned many of our activities around all of the places that we wanted to eat.  Please tell me we're not alone in that =) We met my Grandaddy and his wife there for lunch.  Me and beautiful mom with her dad.

Then we made our way to the big event. My Grandmama's birthday is January 1st and this year was the big 8-0! My sixteen year old cousin organized a surprise party for her in their church fellowship hall. All of her kids were there and lots of long time friends. I think she was pretty surprised!
My mom and I with her mother.
It was a quick but fun trip and I enjoyed seeing family that I just don't get to see that often. We got home on New Years Eve and then I turned around and headed back to Georgia two days later for Passion 2012! More about that soon!
