We asked our ultrasound tech to put the gender information in two envelopes - one for Baby A and one for Baby B. Baby B was being stubborn and we really thought that our tech wasn't going to be able to tell what that one was. At the last minute she told us quickly to turn our heads and she was able to see...so, the party was on!!
We left the doctor and drove straight to a friends house to drop off the very important envelope and the boxes that would be filled with either pink or blue balloons. The suspense was killing Chad! I was actually really looking forward to being surprised the next day at the party, but once we dropped the envelope off I was really wishing that I knew what was inside of it!
We barely slept at all on Friday night, and Saturday morning seemed to really drag. My stomach was in knots and I was so excited/anxious in a good way about the evening. The time finally came to go pick up the boxes and head to the party! Our immediate families and some close family friends all gathered at my in-laws house for the festivities. I'm so thankful that they took time out of their weekend to come and share in our excitement and joy!
