Gatlinburg Getaway '13

Two years ago we went to Gatlinburg for our first annual friends fall break getaway with two other close family friends. Last year we weren't able to travel because I was so pregnant with the girls, so we were excited to join them again this year with our little ones in tow! We had been looking forward to this trip for months!

We started out our journey with the girls in their new big girl car seats!
We arrived to our cute little cabin and wasted no time getting reacquainted and playing with our friends. Can I just tell you how much it warms my heart to see my friends and their kids loving on my kids?! It brings me so much joy!!
We spent some time hiking (even with the parks closed due to the gov't fiasco) and also enjoyed some flag football, fishing, putt-putt and playground time.
I just love these people.
 
And, these girls. 
 We had the best time and are already looking forward to next year!!
