I missed the girls 18 month update, so I'm going to try to jump back in with what they are up to at 20 months old. This age is a lot of fun! It does still make me sad when I see pictures of them at this time last year. My little babies are long gone, but I really do love this age. It definitely has some challenges that we are working through, but overall we have so much fun together!
The sweetest sissies!
You both...
~ love to read books. You have a different voice when you read. It's the cutest thing! I can always tell that you have a book just by hearing those sweet, high pitched reading voices.
~ love bath time. When I turn the water on to rinse you, you both jockey for the position of being under the faucet.
~ love to wave to the neighbors. As soon as we walk out the front door you start waving to the couple across the street...whether they are outside or not!
~ cry when we drop you off in nursery at church. Just for a minute and then you're fine. Although, this past week you didn't, so maybe we've turned a corner?!
~ are really good eaters. You have your moments of decreased appetite, but lately you both have been putting some food away!
~ love to go to story time at the libary. We even checked out a few books the last time we were there.
~ have started to ask for "giger" aka Daniel Tiger when you wake up in the morning or from nap. We will come back to my bed and snuggle while we watch a little tv. I love this time of both my babies laying on me like you used to. =)
~ love to run and climb. Little monkeys!
~ can open and shut the doors in our house that have the lever door handles.
~ are very attached to your loveys and pappies. Although you're only allowed to have your pappies when you're in bed or in the car, I'm not looking forward to the day we say goodbye to them.
~ have your own language, I think. You two somehow communicate and conspire to do all kinds of things. It cracks me up!
~ wear size 4 diapers, size 5 shoes, 12, 18 and 24 month clothing - depending on what it is.
~ take one long afternoon nap and sleep 12 hours at night.

Kinley you...
~ weigh around 21 lbs and are 32" tall.
~ have 12 teeth.
~ "talk" a good bit and have around 15 recognizable words. I can tell you're working hard on learning new words and it makes me so proud!
~ climbed out of your crib about a month ago. It scared me (and you) and thankfully you haven't tried it again since.
~ can be pretty serious when you're in new places or around new people. You like to sit back, observe and take everything in.
~ have the greatest belly laugh!
~ have been going through some separation anxiety lately. You don't like mama or dada to be out of sight.
~ have the greatest belly laugh!
~ can melt my heart into a puddle when you look up at me and say "hi!"
~ give the sweetest hugs and kisses.
~ have the most precious little blonde curls when your hair dries after a bath. It straightens out after you sleep on it, but if it's damp or humid then the curls come back. I love it!!

Emery you...
~ weigh around 22 lbs and are 32.5" tall.
~ have 12 teeth.
~ have more words than I can count. You are a little parrot these days, repeating everything we say. Some of my favorites are "sess you" (bless you), "shish" (fish), "lo lu" (love you), "bubby" (lovey), sissy or KiKi, "maaaaam" (yes ma'am).
~ are getting good at recognizing colors. Green, yellow and blue are your favorites.
~ like to find two of something and give one to your sissy. But, if sissy has a toy you want you don't think twice about just snatching it from her. We are working on taking turns =)
~ will pat Kinley on the back and say "okay, okay" when she's upset about something. Such a good big sister you are!
~ have had three little hair trims already. We had to get rid of the mullet! Your hair is really thickening up and coming in quickly. I just love it!
~give the sweetest hugs and kisses!
~love to pull up people's shirts and blow on their bellies. You mostly do this to us but have been known to do it to a complete stranger before!
~are really big on having your boo-boo's kissed. And, you like kissing other people's boo-boo's too.
~are still sassy and sweet. I just love seeing your personality develop more and more.
You both bring us SO much joy! You are the light of our lives and we love you more than you'll ever know!
I'm new to your blog and just wanted to say that you're girls are super adorable and I love their names.
