We learned a song on our second trip to Cuba that was based on Matthew 17:20 "You didn't have enough faith," Jesus told them. "I assure you, even if you had faith as small as a mustard seed you could say to this mountain, `Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible."
I've had that song on my heart recently as we are drawing closer and closer to the day we will leave for Brazil. Our team has been meeting and preparing as much as we can for our trip...we have a tentative itinerary planned out, we have been working on ministry ideas and coming up with ways we can work with and serve the people we come into contact with, and asking the Lord to prepare our hearts so that we can be empty vessels able to be used by Him.
We've also been asking for Him to provide for the financial needs we have. To be honest, right now we have a mountain in front of us. We are less than three weeks away and have quite a bit more money ($2,000) to raise to be able to go. We know our God is able, there's no doubt about that! So, we are praying and believing that He will provide every penny and more before we leave!
I am so thankful for how the Lord has used several of you to bless us and provide for our needs for this trip. You'll never know how much it means to us and I pray that you will be incredibly blessed in return for your generosity!
Will you please join us in praying that God would continue to provide? We say to this mountain, "MOVE!!" Do it, Lord!!!
