The last few weeks have been busy and fun though. Chad has been working as a summer intern in our youth group. That has kept us busy and given us the opportunity to be a part of some fun activities. We recently traveled with our youth group to camp in Panama City, FL. It was amazing and I was so blessed by the teaching and worship, and the deeper bonds that I formed with our students. My favorite speaker was Stuart Hall. If you've not heard him speak before, please check him out!
Would you believe I did not get any pictures?!? I didn't take my new toy because I didn't want to worry about it. I stole this pic off of someone's facebook =)
Last Sunday evening we had a recap of our trip with our youth group and parents, etc. Anyone who had anything to do with our trip was welcome to come. It was such an amazing night of testimony and worship, and we had 16 students that were baptized!!! God is so good and we are so excited about what He is doing in this student ministry this summer, and we pray the momentum continues!
Glad you had a great time...we are headed to Destin next week :)
ReplyDeleteI'm also happy you are back to blogging!!!
Missed your blogs, Faith!! However, this one is so worth waiting for. Love the news about the 16 baptisms and how God is working in the youth group and using you and Chad. Linda (MomMom)

ReplyDeleteHi Faith!! I have missed you, but totally get the "blog rut" we've all found ourselves in at one time or another. SOOO excited to hear that Chad is interning in your youth ministry!! I LOVE that! It's such a blessing to have commited, Godly men and women partner in ministry to serve students and the Lord. I know your youth Pastor must be THRILLED to have you guys on the team :) Also, how fun that you spent a week at Big Stuf!! That is an amazing camp and I know it made a huge difference in your students if 16 of them wanted to be baptized. Awesome. Glad it was a great week! I think of you often, love catching your tweets, and I haven't stopped praying for you and your journey to parenthood. How incredible that you are choosing to serve the Lord in your wait, I know that's hard. Hang in there!! Glad you're back!!
