Home!!

As I'm writing this I am sitting on a plane headed home. I'm quite ready to see my sweet doggies, my family and friends, but what a week it has been!

I don't think any of us quite knew what to expect from our week in Costa Rica. As we gathered in a circle the first night, the YWAM missionaries asked us what we were expecting God to do this week. Many of us said that we were praying for God to stretch us, take us out of our comfort zone and give us a boldness for Him.

Little did we know then just how much we would be stretched! Our conditions were something that many of us have never dealt with - extremely close quarters with no air conditioning, no hot water, and even a period of time with no power and running water at all, rickety bunk beds with a very thin mattress (if you could even call it that), scorpions, snakes, spiders, and more mosquito bites than I can count. Let me just say that all of the above was a huge stretch for me!

BUT GOD!! That really says it all. There were so many ways that God showed Himself strong. There were many that came to a saving knowledge of Jesus and now have assurance of their eternity in heaven with Him. Praise His Name!!!

I can't wait to share more with you in words and pictures. God is so awesome and we are rejoicing in all that He did this week.
