An Overdue Update...

So, I suppose it's time for an update....our trips are PAID FOR!!! God provided (of course He did!) and we turned all of our funds in on Monday. We are going to Costa Rica!!

I was blown away by how the Lord showed off with this trip. In my last post, I mentioned how I had really been struggling with a spirit of discouragement and wondering how in the world we were going to get the money we needed to both be able to go. Well, the following Sunday morning we were finishing up with the youth service and Chad went into his office to count the offering. It was there that he found an envelope laying on his keyboard with our names written on it. He opened it and excitedly called me over to see what was in it. I could not believe my eyes, that quickly filled with tears, as I counted $750 cash in that envelope!!! Y'all, that was exactly what we needed to turn in that week for our plane tickets!! HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD?!?!?!

We don't know who left that for us, but I am so thankful for their generous heart and their willingness to do what the Lord obviously led them to do. And, some of you sweet friends have given to our trip as well and I cannot say THANK YOU enough! I am so honored that you all would partner with us in prayer and giving to make this trip possible.

I ask that you please continue to pray. We know that this trip will be nothing without prayer. We are so excited to see what God is going to do through this team of 15 students and 7 leaders.
