How Far Along: 26 weeks
Size of Babies: English cucumber
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 30 lbs
Genders: Two girls!!
Movement: Yes and it's still the greatest thing ever! They are moving more and more every day. Now I'm a little confused on which baby I'm feeling when because they have moved around some. At our 26 week appointment we saw that Baby A is transverse and Baby B is head down.
Sleep: Sleep is okay.
Maternity Clothes: Yes!
Symptoms: I hesitate to say this, but I have only gotten sick once in the past week. Maybe I've turned a corner?! Rib/back pain. Tingling in my left hand some mornings. Leg/calf cramps.
Aversions: Nothing specific I can think of.
Cravings: Ice cold water and just food in general. I had a craving for crab legs tonight so we picked some up. They were so good!
What I miss: Not a thing. I've waited too long for this and I'm grateful for everything I'm experiencing.
Best Moment this week: Seeing our sweet girls at our 26 week appointment. They are getting so big! It was an eventful appointment though...I had my glucose test first thing that morning and was not feeling so hot. We got to the specialist office for the ultrasound and I nearly passed out twice on the table. I felt horrible. My sister and my niece came to the appointment as well and at one point I was crying and precious E was crying too because she was worried about us. Bless her!
Congrats on reaching 26 weeks! Your bump looks so cute! Monday marks my 21st!
ReplyDeletei smile every time i see these updates and give thanks all over again. rejoicing!
ReplyDeleteFaith,
ReplyDeleteYou look great! Loving that twin tummy. We have twin grandsons...10 months old so I can't wait to follow you with yours. I post pics of them often and my DIL (their mom) blogs at www.moxiemadeblog.com
Passed out? I think I would cry too. So excited for everything you are getting to experience!
ReplyDeletei had the passing out thing happen to me a few times in my last pregnancy. just make sure you tell the nurses that has happened to you when you go for ultrasounds and appointments and they should try to help you by not making you lay quite so flat. i would have to lay on my side a while and then get up very slowly. it isn't fun at all.
ReplyDeletethe rib/back pain is really tiresome. i have carried all of my babies odd due to my irregular uterus and it feels like my ribs are going to pop. i just try to find a laying position throughout the day that takes the pressure off if only for a few minutes at a time.
we are so thankful that your girls are doing well, now for us both to just stay pregnant another 10 weeks or so! we can do it!
You are so darn cute!! And I am SO excited for your first baby shower!! Such an incredibly special day. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look great. Can't wait to hear about your shower!
