Double digits already?!?! Somebody hold me. I've already started planning your one year birthday party which blows. my. mind. I don't know how it is possible, but you both get cuter by the day. Just
thinking about you makes me smile. Your daddy and I go to bed at night
thinking about you and wake up excited to see your sweet faces again.
You're just the best things EVER!
You're in size 3 diapers now and you're wearing mainly size 6-9 and 9
month clothes. We bought you some things for fall and got size 9 month,
so hopefully they will still work in a couple of months! You're teeny little things
but growing bigger by the day.
Your new tricks are to stand up in your cribs. If you wake up from nap time before I come in your room I'll hear you both jabbering away and then find you like this. Emery, you've started to gnaw on your crib some. We've got to stop that! You still go to bed around 8:00-8:30 and usually wake up between 8:30-9:00am. You take two naps a day, one morning and one afternoon.
You're nursing 5 times a day and eating three full meals. Emery, you went through a couple of weeks where you didn't have the best appetite for table food and would only eat a few bites. Now your appetite seems to be back. Kinley, we laugh because we don't know where you put all the food that you eat! You can put away some food! I love that you're at the point where you'll eat what we eat. Spaghetti, beef, chicken, turkey sausage, pasta, grapes, bananas, corn on the cob, cheerios, yogurt, pancakes, puffs and yogurt melts are still big hits with you both. Emery, you just have your two bottom teeth and Kinley, you still don't have any!
I love seeing how each of your personalities continue to develop. You're both very different. Kinley, you're fearless and into everything. Emery, you're content to just be hanging out with/climbing all over your momma. You're both so much fun! You love crawling around, singing "if you're happy and you know it", playing peek-a-boo, knocking the tower of blocks down, being tickled and reading books. You both like holding/looking at the iphone or ipad. One day, Emery managed to send an email from our baby connect app to her daddy with a report of her day. Ha!
You like to go for walks around the neighborhood. We are looking forward to it cooling down some so we can get outside more. (I just love your expressions here and how you were excited to be touching feet!)
You attended your first wedding this month. We drove down to Greenville for my cousins wedding. You both did very well and I loved getting to show you off to all of my family!
You also went on your first beach vacation this month! I'll have to write more about that soon. You both amazed me with how well you did. We had SO much fun and loved seeing everything through your eyes. It was a real dream come true for your mommy. =)
We're also excited that college football has started back. You're the cutest little dawg fans I ever did see. =)

No dr appointment this month, so we did our best to get your approximate weight and height.
Here are your stats:
Kinley:
Weight: approximately 15lbs 2oz
Height: approximately 26.5 inches

My sweet little peanut, you are so much fun! I honestly don't know how one baby can be so sweet. You're still laid back and pretty even tempered. You are a busy body at home though...into everything. You love to crawl around (fast) and explore. Right now you love to go over to the bookshelf in your nursery, stand up and pull books off the shelf. You've had quite a few tumbles, bumps and bruises this month. Such is life with a mobile baby. You're tough though! You have the best smile and laugh, they're both contagious! You've started to give kisses lately and it is the BEST! I live for those big, sloppy, open mouthed kisses. I would say you're pretty much a daddy's girl though. You light up when you see him or hear him. It melts my heart and I know he loves it too =) Your hair is still growing like crazy and it's lighter than Emery's. It cracks me up because it's long enough to get messed up when you lay on it now. I love your sweet bed head! Your eyes are still blue. You still love your paci and lovey at bed time, and you love to rub your lovey when you're nursing at night. Sweet girl, you are joy and I could not love you more if I tried. I'm so thankful for your precious life!
Emery:
Weight: approximately 16lbs 2oz
Height: approximately 26.5 inches

My precious Emery girl, oh what a mess you are! When you look at me and flash that beautiful smile and your eyes light up, my heart just bursts! You make me laugh all day long. You're getting more adventurous by the day and you sure do think you're big stuff when you try something new. You love crawling over and standing up on things now. You follow along behind sissy and try to do what she's doing. It's the cutest thing. You are definitely a momma's girl! You say "mamama" all the time, but I'm still not 100% sure if you've associated it with me yet?! I still love to hear it regardless =) You're jabbering a lot these days. We work on "dadada" every day, but so far neither you or your sister will say it. I know he can't wait to hear it though! You've recently started to wave and it is the cutest thing! When I look back at you in the car and see your sweet little hand waving at me and your smiling face it makes me want to cry! I never knew I could love someone so much. Your pretty brown hair is growing more, and like sissy, you have the cutest bed head when you wake up. You still have beautiful blue eyes as well. I'm think I'm going to have two blue eyed baby girls?! I still just cannot believe that I am so blessed to be your mom. I love you more than you'll ever know!
This post makes me cry and gives me hope. I am so happy for you & Chad and I love seeing how much you love those pretty girls.
ReplyDeleteAndrew and I have been trying to get pregnant for a little over two years with no luck. As you know some days are harder than others, but seeing your precious miracles gives me hope that I will have my miracle someday too. :)
Happy 10 months to your sweet babies!
ReplyDeleteI love their Georgia outfits! Go Dawgs!
ReplyDeleteYour girls are so sweet. And I probably say this every month, but your love for them and your joy in being their mom shines through every post you write.
