Can you say...

Spoiled Rotten???

DSC01279

That would be my dog...laying on the couch, under a blanket, on top of the heating pad, on a pillow. And yes, the heating pad was on low.

I love my dog. Just a little bit. Can you tell???

Man, I need a baby. Speaking of babies, on Monday I read this beautiful post written by my blog friend Amy. She put into words what my heart feels and just doesn't quite know how to say. There are times that I do feel very alone. But, I'm thankful that there are others who are walking this road with me, and I'm also very thankful for those who are praying for us as we walk this road. It is the hardest thing I've ever gone through, but the Lord is faithful and His mercies are new every morning, and even moment by moment. Praise His Name!

Thanks for all of your sweet comments on E and the new blog look! I love playing around with the layout and coming up with something new and fun!

And, I remembered something else E said that was so cute. We were driving home one night and there was a truck that had one of these on their windshield, obviously a Clems0n Tigers fan...

E looked at it and said "Look, there's a clue! Like Blue's Clues!" Oh my word, we started dying laughing!! She's so funny!!

  1. I LOVE the new blog look!
That pic makes me miss my dog Molly - we had her for 16 years and she was put to sleep last June (so sad)! They deserve to be a little spoiled :)

I also wanted you to know I pray for you often. I can't imagine what you are going through, but I know God is preparing wonderful things for you!

  7. I can't say anything about Calie Boo being spoiled because I have 2 at my house that are equally as rotten!

I read Amy's post and it was so beautifully written. I had to wait for the tears to clear from my eyes to write this comment.

As your mother, I so want to "fix this" and "make everything better" and I can't. All I can do is cover you in prayer and remind you that I am right here beside you in this "room" and I could not love you more! You are not alone!

I believe with all my heart that God is preparing a special miracle for you and Chad and I can hardly wait!

    I love you to pieces!

  9. I too loved Amy's post. Perfectly written, it was like she looked right in my heart and saw things I could never articulate properly... I pray God blesses her for it!
And even though I so wish amazing women like you and her were not in this room, I am grateful to have such amazing sisters to stand beside. You have made the journey easier....
    Blessings,

  12. Hi girl!! How are you? Can I tell you that I LOVE the new blog look!! Did you do it yourself or did you find the "tools" somewhere?? Your header is DARLING and so is your signature at the bottom of your posts. I LOVE it. Maybe you can help me when I re-decorate my blog after we find out girl or boy??

I just want you to know that I am praying for you still, but I pray with hope for you Faith. I just know and believe that the Lord is going to bless you with a baby and He's going to do it in a way that only He can get the glory for! You are a beautiful picture of surrender and He can work with that kind of heart girlfriend! Keep worshipping Him through the hurt and the disappointment. Can I recommend an excellent sermon for you to listen to? I was so reminded of my own journey listening to it and you just kept coming to my mind too. Let me know if you're interested, I'll send you the link.

Love you and love that little Emma! She is too darn cute for her own good :) Glad you had a fun weekend with her!

  13. I would love to send out my love for the new layout once again for good measure. :)

I so appreciated Amy's post. I read and it and just felt so blessed by her honesty and the amazing way she was able to convey what I know so many other women feel. It really helped me understand a little bit better - can never truly understand of course, but just deepened my prayers for all of you sweet girls even more (it that's possible!).

P.S. Emma is stealing my heart, one adorable comment at a time!

  17. Our two labs are just as spoiled! In fact, my older lab gets underneath the covers every night because he's cold. Which, if I'm honest, I love because it keeps me warm! ;-)

Thanks for sharing my post...I honestly didn't realize so many women would identify with it, but I'm thankful God chose to use it that way.

  18. Emma's comment made me laugh out loud, that little sinker, she is just soo cute!! And that is going to be one jealous doggie when the babies come along. She is going to wonder where her heating pad days went :-) Praying for you as usual! Love ya!

  19. Yes Faith - Amy's post hit it right on the head on how the feeling can be so overwhelming but not to take joy away from anyone that is blessed.

I have to believe God holds plans in his hands for us - no matter what they are!!!

  22. I just found your blog (from Kelly's I think) and was inspired to start my own. I, too, am struggeling with infertility and I, too, have a dog that is spoiled beyound comprehension!!! The other night I asked my husband to scoot over b/c he was sleeping in the middle of the bed and he said "But Rustee's over there." Excuse me?!?!? Our 8 lb dog is in your way? Guess who caved...me! I slept w/ a knee in my back while the dog had room to stretch out! Oh well...I just hope my kids are not as spoiled-I guess I should say "rotten" I plan to spoil them to NO END when they come!!!

  23. I LOVE the new blog-look!!! It's gorgeous! I am dying for something "customized" but I haven't a clue on how to figure any of it nor do I have money to pay someone else to do it.

In the meantime, I'll just covet yours. (o: Looks fab girl!

  24. I do absolutely LOVE the new layout, so festive! And the photo of your pup made me laugh because our dog has a special blanket that is exclusively his in our family room. No heating pad, but now that you mention it, maybe we should add one! :)

  27. I totally just posted about my spoiled (and costly) doggies!!! We are on the same mind. I loved Amy's post and my heart just ached in "relation" to her every word. I know you know it....but I am praying so hard for you, Faith. Multiple times a day, every day. I believe He will bring you a baby. I feel it in my heart. I love you so much and am here if you need anything!
