How Far Along: 33 weeks (measuring 43 weeks though - wowser!)
Size of Babies: Pineapple (at our last ultrasound they were each right around 4lbs!)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 43 lbs
Genders: Two girls!!
Movement: Yes! I love to watch my belly move all around from the outside. It's the wildest thing!
Sleep: Sleep is not so great. I get up so many times each night to use the bathroom that it's hard to get more than an hour or two stretch. I guess it's just preparing me for these little princesses to be here!
Maternity Clothes: Yes!
Symptoms: Pretty bad round ligament pain, aches, sporadic contractions.
Aversions: Nothing specific I can think of.
Cravings: Ice cold water and just food in general.
What I miss: Not a thing. I've waited too long for this and I'm grateful for everything I'm experiencing.
Best Moment this week: Being home from the hospital a week! Our doctors were pleased that we've made it another week. I got the okay to be out for a little bit over the weekend for our last baby shower with Chad's family and was able to reschedule our maternity pictures. More about each of those soon!
Those babies are growing and you are glowing!! I bet you are super excited!!!

I've continued to follow you throughout this journey, and I'm praying for you. You may find it neat to know that I am pregnant as well and within just a few weeks of you! I'm 30 weeks today. :) After over 4 years of struggling with infertility, we did IVF in April and are expecting a baby boy in January! I remember you telling me that HE is able! So true - our God is so faithful. Also, you look AMAZING!!! Can't wait to see pics of the girls when they arrive, and all my best to you. Continued prayers and blessings!
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous! I have been reading your blog for quite some time... praying for you to get pregnant, and now praying for your girls. We have quite the similar story... we struggled for years to get pregnant and finally got pregnant with our boy/girl twins via IVF. (i got pg again when the twins were 18 months... complete surprise, but that is a whole different subject! lol) anyways... I just wanted to tell you a bit about my labor story to give you even more hope! I went into pre-term labor like you at 26 weeks.. and stayed in the hospital on mag drip and terb shots for 2 months. I was also dilating and the contractions were causing progress.... I say all of this to say... I had my twins at 38 weeks. You can do this!!! Godspeed!!!!
