Nursery Reveal

I finally got around to photographing Kinley and Emery's nursery. I absolutely love how it turned out and it is by far my favorite room in the house!

Come on in!

We found this dresser and mirror on craigs1ist and Chad painted it white. We would like to switch out the hardware to glass knobs at some point.
The glider was a big find at a consignment sale. It is so comfy! I love to rock my sweet babies here. A dear friend painted this precious canvas for our girls. I love it and it's so true =)
I always knew I wanted Jenny Lind cribs. I just love them! And, of course there had to be monograms somewhere in their room ;-)
The bedding is the palest pink quilted bumper with a striped crib sheet and gray bed skirt. Love!!
We ended up taking the bi-fold doors off of their closet to make a little more room. Their laundry hamper sits at the end of Kinley's crib and there would not have been room for the doors to open fully. The little night stand came with the dresser and mirror and we have used it for a lamp, books and more hair accessories. Can you tell we like bows just a little?!

It's not a big room but we were able to make it work for our needs right now. I couldn't love it more!

  8. Wow...it's just awesome!!! I'm intrigued by your closet organization. Did you guys build in there with the cabinets and double clothes bars, or is that something you bought to put in there? I hope you have an easy answer because we need to reconfigure our girls' closets...I need ideas, though. :)

I've never posted a picture of Shelby's closet b/c I'm not a very organized closet person like most of you bloggers!
My Mom mentioned doing the open closet thing and I was hell to the NO! That's where I shove everything to be hidden!! LOL!

  21. As I was rocking Kinley and Emery on Saturday, I was sitting in their nursery admiring just how beautiful it is. You and Chad did such a great job creating a peaceful "sanctuary" for the girls. I was actually wondering if you were going to do a post showing their room...I was so glad to see this post.
The pictures are gorgeous, but I think it's even more beautiful "in person". It is just perfect for your two little princesses! ( :
