Congratulations Scott and Kelly!!!

BloggyBabyShower

Well, I must admit that this is the first bloggy baby shower that I've ever hosted or been to, but I am so excited about it!

If only we lived closer and we could have a real, live and in person, shower for Kelly, Scott and Harper...

We could have some delicious punch....

Lots of yummy food and a cute cake...

Of course, a precious diaper cake centerpiece would be needed...
and monogrammed gifts galore...

But, since we can't get together and celebrate with you in person, this will have to do ;-)

Kelly, your blog was one of the first ones that I started reading and fell in love with. A good friend of mine told me that I needed to check you out, because she knew that we had a lot in common and were going through some of the same things. When I would read about your struggle with infertility and your waiting on the Lord for a baby, I could relate to everything you would write. Your faith did (and still does) inspire me and encourage me to keep going, keep trusting and keep believing the Lord.

I have known people who have been through the waiting, and when they received their blessing it seemed like they forgot what they had been through and the things they dealt with before. I can honestly say that could not be further from the truth with you. You have remembered where you were, and now that the Lord has brought you through, you continue to encourage so many to keep waiting and believing. You are burdened for those of us still here, and are committed to praying for us, as evidenced by this prayer blog that you felt led to start. I personally appreciate your sweet comments and your encouraging emails letting me know that you are praying for Chad and I.

I am so grateful for how God has answered your prayers and blessed you with this sweet Harper babe who will be here before you know it! I have no doubt that you and Scott will be wonderful parents and Harper will be one blessed (and best dressed) little girl in Arkansas!!!

I don't have any parenting words of wisdom except to love that sweet baby girl with all that is in you, and never let a day go by that you don't thank God for the wonderful miracle He has given you. Enjoy every moment you are given with her!!

Congrats a million times Scott and Kelly!!!!

First of all - that cake and that diaper cake are so cute if they were at a real shower I don't know if I could stand it! ha!
Thank you for your sweet words! They mean SOOO much to me! Most of all I'm praying for the day that you and Chad share in this joy and we are showering YOU! And I KNOW that day will come! We will keep praying and BELIEVING until it does. Your faith inspires me SO much - I'm so glad you "found me" in the blog world!
