Boo!

You are never going to believe who we saw at the market today!!!

Melissa and I were on the hotel shuttle getting ready to be dropped off at the market, when I look out the window and see a lady that looks so familiar. So, I asked Melissa, "Is that BooMama?" and she says, "I think it is". So I asked the shuttle driver if we can get out right there and he says yes, so we hopped out! By this time, she had already walked down the street and was getting ready to cross another street, and I'm thinking, "do I just yell BooMama, do I run after her and stalk her to see if it's really her?" I mean, what is one to do in that situation?

So, she got away. I was kicking myself for not even finding out if that was really her and racking my brain trying to think of why she would be at the wholesale market, etc. I was completely obsessing over the BooMama sighting, and probably driving Melissa crazy, when it dawned on me that her sister-in-law Janie that has the JJ could have been there to sell her adorable travel jewelry wraps!! That would explain it!!

We were still left with the dilemma of how we would come across her again in three buildings of madness with at least 20 stories each...talk about craziness! But, lo and behold, we were standing in the hallway and I look into a showroom and there she is! BooMama (or at least BooMama's long lost twin) is standing there! So, I march right up to her and ask "Are you BooMama?" Her sister-in-law starts laughing and saying "Sophie, you are famous!" She said "Hey, I'm Sophie!" Y'all, it was just the coolest thing! We told her that we love reading her blog and then stood there and talked about what we were doing there. I totally about whipped my camera out right there on the spot to take our picture with her, but then remembered that you aren't supposed to take pictures in the showrooms, so we made plans to go by Janie's booth tomorrow to take our picture with her just so we can prove that we really met BooMama!!

An exciting first day here at AmericasMart! We are worn out already and we have only been her for half of one day...that does not bode well for us! There is so much cuteness here, you would not even believe it! We are working on our game plan tonight so that we will be ready to go in the morning! Hopefully I will have pictures for you tomorrow!
