Can you tell me how to get,

how to get to Sesame Street?

We found our way to Sesame Street Live on Friday so these two cuties could see "When Elmo Grows Up"

Sesame Street Live 002

I have to admit that thinking about sitting through 90 minutes of Elmo singing over two dozen songs had me a little concerned, but I will do just about anything for my sweet Boo! I decided to get her a ticket for her birthday and we went along with Jen and Hayes. It was actually pretty cute and we had a great time!

E and NaNa

Sesame Street Live 003

E was pretty excited about the newest member of the cast, Abby Cadabby! Here she is on stage with her fellow furry friends...

Sesame Street Live 006

They were talking about what each one of them wanted to be when they grew up. Bert and Ernie wanted to be park rangers, Grover wanted to be a fireman, Abby Cadabby wanted to be a fairy godmother, etc. When we asked Hayes and E what they wanted to be, Hayes said "Elmo" and E said "Abby Cadabby"!! Oh dear, I guess they could be on this stage dancing around in 20 years! Ha!

They got out of their seats and sat on the floor leaning on the guardrail. Aren't they cute?

Sesame Street Live 012

La la la la la la la la, Elmo's World. E likes that song!

Sesame Street Live 010

It was such a fun day! To see the look of joy on her face and the sparkle of excitement in her eyes made it ALL worthwhile!

  1. Emma just had that same sparkle of excitement when she saw the pictures here on your blog! She started singing the songs.

I cannot believe that you made that precious Elmo shirt for her! It was the cutest thing ever!

I know that Emma must have had a ball being with Elmo AND her NANA! It doesn't get much better than that!
