God is just the coolest! I love how He uses music to speak to my heart, and this weekend He gave me a song that will be my anthem...while I'm waiting. There was an awesome song that we heard a little bit of during the movie Fireproof. I had never heard it before, so we tried to stick around for the credits to see who sang it. We actually saw it, but got the guys name wrong.
Well, I checked my email last night and my sweet blog friend Deidre sent me an email about this very song! Here is some of what she said..."One song in particular always reminds me of my struggle with infertility. It goes right along with your post the other day, so you should check it out. It's called "While I'm Waiting" by John Waller. (Oh, and it was on the Fireproof movie, too). It's such a great song. It reminded me of you tonight, so I said a prayer for you!!!" Thank you, Deidre, for sharing this with me. God used you in a big way!
I'm telling you, God is so cool! You have got to listen to this song...it is exactly what I want do, "While I'm Waiting"

ReplyDeleteI LOVE how God works!!! My SS lesson this past week was on waiting and what we are to do in the process. I just think this song is so appropriate. I remember being at a crossroads when I was struggling with infertility and God was clearly asking me if I would worship Him no matter what the outcome. That was a difficult question to answer, but one I will never forget. He is the ONE true God and sovereign whether I choose to believe Him or not, but oh when I choose to believe Him, how much sweeter He becomes.
