Today is "Noctober" 4th which means that a certain little girl is three years old!!!! I cannot believe it!
We celebrated yesterday with a day of fun for Miss E. Chad, Grace and I went to E's daycare to take cupcakes to her friends. We've determined that right after waking up from a nap is probably not the best time to have a party. It didn't go over too well last year, and this year was not much better! She didn't want to show us her pretty smile in any of the pictures...she did however want us to know that she was 3!

After the party at her daycare, we headed to my mom's house for dinner, cake and presents!
One of the presents was necessary to open before the party started...
we had a theme to carry out and we needed a princess!
You would have thought it was Christmas in this house with all the presents. It's such a shame nobody loves this girl ;)
We had chicken chili, which was so yummy, for dinner. (Thanks Mom!) After our bellies were full, it was then time for a wardrobe change (the theme, remember?) and presents. Here's our princess in her princess shirt!
E told me that she wanted a blankie with her baby's name on it for her birthday. So, I made her one and some diapers for her baby dolls. She looks thrilled, don't you agree?
She got some clothes, books, puzzles, a game, a tea set, a new baby and will now be a very busy little girl playing with it all.
Time for cake!!

I just got teary-eyed when I see the pictures and think of how fast this little angel has grown up!

You did a great job on all of the "wardrobe" and I LOVE the purple birthday dress. So sweet! Sorry I had to miss the Daycare party this year. Maybe we'll try for a different time of day next year! (-:

she is so adorable...my little boy turns 1 and a half on the 29th of this month and I cannot believe it! Time flies! Everyone tells you that but you don't know it, until you have beautiful children who grow by leaps and bounds every single day.
