Thank you so much for all of your prayers for our trip. It was such an amazing time and the Lord showed up in BIG ways! It’s so hard to put into words what a foreign mission trip is like, but I did want to share some pictures of the sweet, sweet faces that we saw there. A piece of my heart is still there with them!

Sweet Christina. This is a young lady who tried to take her life when we were in town on Saturday. The Lord made a way for us to go back to visit her on Wednesday and she found the hope and peace she was looking for in Jesus. Praise Him!!

Thanks for sharing that Faith. Great pictures!!! Brazil is a very special place to me since that's where my family is from. I haven't been there in almost 6 years now but I would love to go back on a missions trip.
ReplyDeleteI plan on going to Haiti soon. I have such a burden on my heart for that nation.
Brazil will forever hold a special place in my heart, it is where we first heard the call to adopt and knew it would be internationally and a latino child. We fell in love with the people and even gave our son his middle name after the pastor we worked with who made a lifelong impression on us. I'm excited to tell you that Rex will be going to Chile in June and I'll be headed to Ecuador in August. Can't wait!
