Almost eight years ago this sweet little five year old walked down the aisle as the flower girl in my wedding.
And today she is turning THIRTEEN!!! It's my sweet cousin Katelyn's birthday today!
This picture was taken last month when I visited Columbus. I so enjoyed catching up with her and finding out more about her now as she has grown. She reminds me a lot of myself when I was her age. We're both the first born, so we want to be in the know and not miss out on anything! She got tickets to a Jon@s Brothers concert for her birthday, and I'm sure that was a blast!
Happy Birthday Katelyn! I pray that as you enter this new phase in life that you will remember you are loved, by your family and by the Lord. Remember who you are in Him...you are beautiful, loved, accepted...you are a daughter of the King! You have such a sweet spirit and a desire to help and serve those around you, and I pray that you never lose that desire. Continue to grow in God's Word and seek to know Him more. I can't believe that Katelyn is 13 and I can't believe that was almost 8 years ago! That was such a beautiful day and everything about it was perfect! You were the most beautiful bride that I have ever seen and Katelyn was such a gorgeous little flower girl.

Oh, how sweet!!! My flower girl was my niece. She was 4 and now she is 15!!!!! It is amazing how fast all these sweet precious children grow up. Isn't it a blessing to be a part of their lives.
