Fashion Fiesta Friday!

small button

I took the challenge from BigMama to show what my "uniform" would be. What I wear on a typical day.

Now, I must warn you that I am a pretty boring, jeans and t-shirt, kinda girl. That is what I wear most days throughout the fall and winter. Here is an example...

I own that same v-neck long sleeve tee from Ann Taylor Loft in at least five other colors! I usually add some type of beaded jewelry (which I love!) and I pair it with jeans. I've had a hard time replacing my beloved pair of Old Navy jeans that I just wore to death. But I did find this pair (notice the cuteness on the back pocket) at Steve and Barry's for all of $8.98. Gotta love that!

I work in retail and I stand on concrete floor all day long, so my shoes MUST be comfortable. I got these Dansko's last fall and they have served me well! Definitely not the cutest shoes on the block, but they work for the winter. What am I going to do for spring and summer????

Here was my attempt at a self portrait the other day. I actually mixed it up a bit with a cable knit sweater and my leopard print flats (gasp!) Love the white layering tank....I wear it under so many things, because ya know, I just don't like having my "stuff" hanging out all over the place!

Now, I have always thought that it would be so cool to dress up for work in cute business suits like this...

Or this...

I am a big fan of dress pants. I wear them pretty much throughout the fall and winter. For one, I don't have to wear panty hose or tights, which I find terribly uncomfortable. And, since I had a spot of melanoma removed from my leg a couple of years ago I don't get out in the sun much, so the pants hide my scar and my lily white legs! I love capri's for spring and summer because they do the trick too!

I love these outfits and if I could shop all day long and had money flowing from my pockets I would by this...

And these...

So, there you have it! Me, in all my jeans and t-shirt glory! Now, I've got to come up with a new uniform for the spring and summer.

Which reminds me, I still have a gift card to the Loft....time to go shopping!

  16. My first official comment on a blog ever. Aren't you impressed. I did comment on Jenn's blog one time but you did the typing so this is all me. First let me say I know nothing about this stuff, but you've always looked gorgeous to me and I think your haircut is very sassy. Can I say sassy and not sound like a total girl? Strike sassy and enter hot. I love your style and appreciate the fact that you look awesome and stay modest. Modest is hottest for this fella. Well this comment is way too long, but thought I would surprise you. Love you to pieces Faithy May!!

  20. Love, love Steve and Barry's. Especially the t-shirts! I have not been able to find any jeans though.

Your everyday look is cute. Jewelry enhances the look. Perhaps I should try that.

    Thanks!
