I have been re-united with my good friend...
thanks to my really good friend Jennifer!
I cannot tell you how excited I am to be drinking an ice cold caffeine free Dr. Pepper! I LOVE Dr. Pepper, and it has broken my little heart to go without it since I gave up caffeine. I was seriously in mourning for a while. I see it in the drink machines, at the soda fountains in restaurants and just mourn the fact that I can't drink it without ending up with a major migraine.
But Jennifer first saved the day when her in-laws were able to get several cases for us. Glory! Those lasted not nearly long enough, and the mourning process started again because NO ONE around here sells it. The closest place would be about an hour away. Believe me, I tried. I searched. I called grocery stores in town and requested that they PLEASE carry it! But I had no success and didn't know if I'd see one of those gold cans again.
That is until today. While on my lunch break I realized I had a voicemail. I went to check it and was literally shouting for joy when I heard Jennifer on the other line telling me that she had found two of the beloved gold cases at Wal-Mart, in our very own city, about 5 minutes from our house! Glory land! She swiped them up and informed me she would be bringing one by! Thank you girl...you are the best!!
And so here I sit, enjoying my fabulous Dr. Pepper, and getting ready to watch AI results show. Enjoy your night!

Yum! Where did you get it? Do they have more? I would love some too! I am still trying to stay away from caffiene myself! That would be awesome!

ReplyDeleteWhen I was pregnant with my youngest I looked everywhere for CF dr. pepper and they do not sell it in my state or any of the surrounding ones. I almost had a case mailed to me, but it was going to be 15.00.
