Let's Play Some Games!

Last night we had our friends over for some pizza, fun and games (and there may or may not have been chocolate chip cookies involved!). We kept telling them how much fun we have playing Guitar Hero, SingStar, and Dance Dance Revolution, and that they needed to get in on the action! So, they came, and they did! Let me tell you, I did not know my friends had some of these moves!! Well....I had somewhat of an idea about Daniel, given his clogging background and all! Ha!!! (Please don't hate me Daniel!)

We started the evening off with a little Super Mario brothers while we were waiting on the pizza.

Then it was time to rock with Guitar Hero...Here's Jen, rocking to some "School's out for summer" She did good!

I must not have gotten a picture of Daniel rockin' out, BUT I did get a picture of him bustin' a move (well, kind of...it's hard to get action shots! Just take my word for it!) to some New Edition on Dance Dance Revolution! Go Daniel, Go Daniel, Go, Go, Go Daniel!

I have some great video of this, but I had the camera turned vertically and you have to turn your head to watch it! I should have thought about that!

Jen's turn!

I gave it a try, although I can't play long because looking at the screen makes me dizzy! (such a flattering picture, don't ya think? Ha!)

There is no doubt who the real dancer in our family is!

Rebecca decided it was easier to sit down and do it!

Then we got the mic's out for SingStar 80's! This would be Rev. Run on the right and DMC on the left performing "It's Tricky"

Daniel and Jen battling it out on an 80's medley

Such a fun night with good friends! Melissa, when you get back, you and Steve are challenged to a round of SingStar and Dance Dance Revolution Supernova! I bet you (and Steve) can hardly wait!! Oh, and Emily and Brandon, how 'bout a rematch of American Idol and Guitar Hero???

  5. I believe I am jealous of so much talent in one room. Such fun from the '80s, brings back fond feelings of the mullet and blue eyeshadow!

  7. Oh, that looks like so much fun - especially if there were chocolate chip cookies involved :)

Eric and I have confiscated my little brother's guitar hero while he's out of state doing an internship. I love it!

  11. Rev. Run and I welcome any and all challengers. But let me warn you, be prepared to be BLOWN away. We're pretty incredible, and as you can tell extremely humble. So I decided to leave our challenge busting a rhyme for ya'll.

    Check, checka, microphone wrecka
You gotta be crazy if you're willing to step up

    God Bless,
DMC ( aka Daddy Mac Chad)

  13. I KNOW how serious ya'll take your games so if I were Steve and Melissa, I would think twice before I stepped up to that challenge!

I have no doubt who the REAL dancer is! I have seen "his moves" at my house on several occasions!

Looks like ya'll had so much fun!
