Weekend of fun

My sister went away this weekend to NYC with some people from her office, so we had the girl with us ALL weekend! We had so much fun!!!

Friday evening, we went to dinner at Carrabba's...yum!

Then it was time for a "treat"...Starbucks, here we come!

Girlfriend will tear up a frappuccino!!

Saturday morning we headed to the pool. This time, we were prepared with a 'swim sweater' so there would be no more going under the water nonsense! She had so much fun!

She's ready to go!

Look at this big girl!!

After a good nap on Saturday afternoon, we were off to see Chad's family. It was a combination Father's Day celebration and going away party for Chad's baby sister. She moved to Charleston today. We will miss her very much, but we are proud of her for taking this step on her own. Now, we pray that she will get settled in down there and find a good church home to support her while she's away from family.

Chad and Candice

We got tickled in this one!

Chad's grandmother "BeBe" and E. E LOVES BeBe!

It was such a fun day!

Today was so sad when we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl after church. We truly had such a wonderful time with her and wished she could stay longer! I know her mommy was excited to get back and see her, and we're glad that she had a good time and a safe trip home!

It has been storming like crazy here tonight. It POURED on our way home, and as we were driving, lightening struck the ground RIGHT by our car...it scared me half to death! It was so loud! There was flooding on the streets near our house...it hasn't rained this hard in a long time.

I hope that you guys had a wonderful weekend as well! I have something fun going on tomorrow night that I am really looking forward to....our Sunday School ladies are doing a "What not to wear" workshop with Shari Braendel and I am so excited! Now, just have to quit stressing about what I'm going to wear! Can't wait to tell you all about it!!

  7. I'll tell you this, wear what makes you the MOST confident and strut it! Unless you look just downright hideous Shari won't say a word - unless of course you ask, then you'd better be ready!
    ;-)
    Have fun!
