Saturday Sleepover

We had a big day planned with our little Boo. It was time for a sleepover again, and we decided now that the pool is open that we would take her swimming. We mentioned it about a month ago (not a good idea when you can't follow through) and she kept saying she wanted to go "wimmin". So, we loaded up the pool bag with sunscreen (I learned my lesson!) and snacks and were on our way.

Here she is in her new bathing suit, waiting to get lotioned up.

It feels good in here! Okay, maybe just a tad chilly!

I was surprised at how brave she was in the water. She just hopped right in and was having a good time. That is until......
She and Bubba decided to start "running" in the water, which led to the unfortunate incident of getting her hair wet, along with every other inch of her body. Not the best timing considering we had only been there for 5 minutes! Needless to say, after that she was a little more hesitant to play around and kept asking "I not fall?" Bless her baby heart!

Snack time...

My handsome husband!

As we were finishing our snack, a couple of little boys came in the kiddie pool, and she wasn't too sure she wanted to play. She sat on my lap and when I would ask her if she wanted to swim she would say "There's boys in there". For some reason, she didn't want to have anything to do with them. When I told her mommy that, she said "good, let's keep it that way!" Ha!

I love my girl!

We decided to head home for a quick nap and then get ready for dinner. We ate bar-b-que and then made our Saturday night trip to Target where I found these CUTE pajamas...

I LOVE the pink and green turtles! I got the others because they were on sale and they were just as comfy, but I wasn't as thrilled with them.

Then it was time for a TREAT!!! E told us she wanted ice cream with M&M's in it, so we made our way to Marble Slab Creamery. It was lined out the door, so we decided to take some pics while we waited.

E and Bubba...this is the smile we keep getting when we say "smile pretty"!

E and NaNa

This ice cream sure is yummy!!! (and messy!)

Silly girl!

A self portrait...we finally got this one on about the 19th try!

What a fun night!

I hope you've had a great weekend, and a wonderful day in the Lord's house today! Praying for each of you in the week ahead!
