Blogging Buddies Meet!

I have been meaning to get this post up for a few days now, but I have not found the time!

On Saturday I got to meet up with some great friends who blog and also meet a new friend. Deidre and I have read each others blogs for quite a while now and I have just grown to love her. She has been such a source of encouragement for me as I walk the road of infertility, because she has been there and the Lord has brought her through. I love to read her stories of her family, and I have learned so much from her and how she is raising her precious daughters for the Lord.

We realized a while back that we didn't live too far from one another and decided that a meeting in person was a must! This past Saturday was the day. I met up with Deidre and some other sweet blogging friends who all happen to have something in common with Deidre. I'm telling you, blogging is just the coolest!

Okay, let me see if I can explain this and make some sort of sense. Jennifer is one of my best friends and is from the same area as Deidre. We realized recently that they both have several friends in common and know a lot of the same people. Heather is another precious friend that I met through blogging and happens to be a fabulous photographer who has photographed all of our families. And, Amy and her family will be relocating soon to Deidre's area so they were able to talk about neighborhoods, schools, churches, etc. It is such a small world!!

We had the best time laughing and cutting up with each other. I think we were there for several hours, but it didn't seem that long because we were having such a great time!

 

We talked about soooo much...ikea (my new fave) and all their weird item names, uncle lee's ashes (a wild and crazy Amy story),  soft serve ice cream makers (Jeremy, Heather really wants one!), eating organic,  and many other random things. Laughing out loud with great friends = a good day!

I could tell from Deidre's blog that she was just the sweetest thing with such a heart for the Lord. And, I can tell you that in person, she is even sweeter, funnier and prettier than I thought!
