To my friend that is 10 years older than me (yes, I just said that, but I honestly never even think about it!), HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Melissa and I have known each other for quite a few years, but our friendship really developed when she and her husband, Steve, asked Chad and I to co-teach our young married Sunday School class. I had no idea then what kind of adventure we would be in for!
Throughout the years we've had so much fun on mountain getaways...(remember that AWESOME spicy shrimp and horseradish ranch at The Best Cellar?? Oh my word, so good!)
Many birthday and anniversary celebrations...
Prayer retreats, beach trips and countless Sunday School socials...
And how could I forget our market experiences??
Melissa, although things have changed recently and we aren't able to see each other as much as we're used to, I want you to know that I love you and I'm thankful to call you my friend. I am so grateful for your love, prayers and support and I hope your birthday is extra special and full of joy!

Aw! I cherish EVERY SINGLE one of those pictures and moments together too! We have had some fun over the past few years and honestly I don't think about the 10 years either... except at one of our birthdays and then I have to put it out of my mind!
