Scripture Memory Verse #3

It's time for a new verse! I love this challenge to hide more of God's word in our hearts and the verses that God has given me have been exactly what I've needed to hear, know and believe.

My last verse was Jeremiah 32:17..."Oh Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and the earth by Your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for You!"

I have claimed that over and over in my life and will keep on. He is huge and He is able!!!

Here are my next verses...

"So we make it our goal to please Him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade men. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience." 2 Corinthians 5:9-11

I chose these verses because they are the mission statement verses of a new discipleship group that I will be participating in called "Living on Target". This group will challenge me to make it my goal/aim/target to live a life that is well pleasing to God in every aspect.

I am ready for yet another step in my journey to get real with the Lord and live completely for Him!

  3. These are great verses to memorize. It is so important to be consistent in our walk and please HIM no matter where we are at. I struggle with this constantly.

The lyrics to that song are great and I need to hear them over and ove. I need to find this to put on my ipod.

  5. I really like the new verse you chose. I admire your ability to memorize those scriptures, I have the WORST memory ever, so I have trouble memorizing anything. But I do enjoy looking up the verses you share in my Bible every night.
