Chili Night on a Chilly Day!

BRR! What happened to the 70 degree weather? Please come back! It has been chilly around here for the past couple of days, but it worked out good for our Sunday School social - Chili Night.

We had a great turnout from folks in our class and LOTS of kids! It worked out great to have access to the gym so that they could run around like crazy in there, and they did just that!

We took E with us and she had so much fun playing with all her friends! Here she is in the gym with Maria who is teaching Caroline how to play volleyball.

And she played basketball with Bubba

But while they were in the gym playing, I was lovin' on the babies! Our good friends Brandon and Emily were there with their twin boys. It had been a while since I had held them, so I had to get me some love!

Brady was snoozin' (and snoring!) away in his car seat.

But later he woke up and Melissa got to hold him. I swear he is Brandon's "mini me"!

Then it was time to eat! The chili's were all delicious! We were supposed to have a contest to see who the winner was, but I think they were all winners! I know Chad tried all four. So yummy! I should have taken a picture of them all.

It was such a fun night! I am so thankful for an awesome Sunday School class and the friends that we have made over the years as a result of being a part of this awesome group. I never would have imagined eight years ago how important they would become in our lives, and to our marriage. They are such a treasure and have been our biggest supporters, encouragers, and prayer warriors...especially over the last two years. We love you guys so much! We are so blessed to have you in our lives! Daniel and Jennifer, we missed you!
