He Is Risen!

He is risen indeed!

I hope that you all have had a wonderful Easter Sunday. Ours has been great, and busy. The choir sang for all three services this morning, so it was a VERY early start for me! I was so glad to have all of my family there at church this morning. We then went up to my parents for lunch. It was SO delicious! My mom made ham, horseradish deviled eggs (my fave!), and a few other sides. Yummy! Thanks mom and dad for cooking for all of us!

We took some pictures when we got to my parents house. They didn't turn out quite as good as I had hoped. We were looking into the sun and had squinty eyes...oh well!

E was not in the mood for a photo shoot either. She had fallen asleep in the car on the way up and desperately needed a nap! But she looked so cute in her dress that I made for her!

This was actually from Friday when I tried the dress on her at our house. She is such a mess!

E changed her tune a bit once we ate and were ready to go hunt for eggs! She's got her basket and she's ready to go!

Found one!

There's another one!

I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of my mom and dad! You know, the ones taking the pictures hardly ever get their pictures taken! I'll have to make sure I get some next time!

I hope that you had a blessed Easter weekend! I hope that we can remember to celebrate the Resurrection each and every day. He's Alive!

  2. Girl! The dress is precious! love the bow in the back! We got Caroline the same little bag that Emma got and her dress was a big hit! Thanks so much for helping me!! You guys look good... all color coordinated as usual! Hate we missed being with you today. We prayed for you guys and talked about missing our friends. I am sure it was great! See you later... love you!

  3. Can you believe I didn't take any pictures! I realized it and yelled for the kids to keep their dress clothes on. And THEN realized the camera battery was dead! I was so mad! I'll make them wear the same clothes in a few weeks and try again I guess.

  4. Kelly - I actually skipped out on the third service to go to Sunday School, but the kicker for me was having to be there for the early service when the choir usually doesn't sing. We had to be there at the time I am usually waking up! Yikes!

Melissa - I must see pictures of Caroline in her dress! We missed you guys!

Jen - I definitely think a re-shoot is in order. They looked SO cute! And I thought little man looked adorable in his "Easter dress" Too funny!
