Today has been such a lazy day. I was off today because this Saturday is my one to work for April. I have to say it was the perfect day to lay around...dark, dreary, rainy. And because of that my man was home too! I love when he gets rained out on a day that I am off!
We took it easy and got caught up on some TV shows that we were behind on. Namely, The Bachelor: London Calling. I always say that I'm not going to get sucked in each season, but y'all, I do! We had been TiVo'ing it but hadn't had the chance to watch the first two episodes, until today. Oh my! What an interesting crowd!
I have to say, I really like this bachelor. He may be my favorite yet! He is funny, charming, and seems like he is pretty genuine about why he's there and what he wants. Now, the women on the other hand...that's a different story. I cannot get over all the girls making it a talent show and singing (all the singing!) the dancing and even the guitar, piano and clarinet playing. What on earth? I get so uncomfortable just watching it, I can't imagine how awkward it is to actually be sitting there in person! Yikes!
There is always some dramatic exit interview when the girls don't receive a rose, but this one beats all I've ever seen. Part of me feels sorry for her...I mean, just bless her heart! But the other part just can't believe that she really talks about her cat in the interview! In case you missed...
Have you ever? Is it any wonder that her cat is the love of her life right now? Bless it! I just feel so sorry for her =(
So, it's official. I am once again hooked.
Is anybody with me?

What in the world? Is she one of those cat women. OK, so again I do not watch any of these, but I love it that you pick out the funniest clips to go on your blog. Let me tell you I almost wrecked, I was laughing so hard, when I trying to tell my sister about the grape lady on the phone. Look I know if I need to a pick me up, I just need to come on here.
ReplyDeleteI have only watched it once, but it was THIS one. The poor girl. The love of her life. She can't wait to hold her in her arms. It is pretty sad. He's not the only guy in the world for Pete's sake!! AND there are 20 others trying to get his attention. Make the most of it and find another guy while they are all there!! Pitiful. Just pitiful. No mercy here.
ReplyDeleteOh, I meant to tell you about her! And she's the one who played the clarinet AND sang. When they start that mess, I always end up covering my eyes. Awkward!!
ReplyDeleteOK Girly!! I tried "something" on my blog.....what a mess you started!! I'm just teasing!! Kris came home and he was like "what in the WORLD are you trying to do??" and I was like..."I just WANT TO HAVE A CUTE BLOG!!!" hee hee!! Now..if you would please share how you did your little signture thing..I love it!! You are soooo talented!! You know people pay a lot of money for stuff like this!!
ReplyDeleteOk, so I confess, I watch the Bachelor too, but I missed this one!! Isn't it on tonight?? Ok, well, thanks for inspiring me!! =)
I'm so addicted to the bachelor - I've never missed one. I think the last one - the guy from TX who didn't pick anyone was my favorite.
ReplyDeleteToday would have been a great day to be home!!!
