Favorite Rooms

Kelly posted pics of her beautiful kitchen and invited us to share pics of our favorite rooms. I decided that I would play along too!

I posted a pic a while back of our living room. We have worked hard on this room and it has come a long way from the hand-me-down green sofa and love seat and the end tables that were my great-grandmothers! I really do like this room. Chad and I each have a couch that we've claimed and we hang out in the evenings watching all of our shows.

On the wall above the couch

Another room that I spend a good bit of time in....my sewing studio.

This room is just a hodge-podge of pink, black and white. We never got around to painting the walls, so they're just boring white still (yuck!). I have tried to add color with things on the walls, fabric, etc. but it is still lacking in my opinion!

Please overlook the mess!!! I constantly have a project going and stuff everywhere! That quilt has been hanging on the wall unfinished for over 2 years....yeah, I'm on the ball.

Thanks for visiting some of my favorite rooms! I can't wait to see yours too!

  1. I love your living room!
We have our couches set up the same way and I love it. Scott lays on one and I lay on the other and we watch TV.
and of course - you HAVE to have a sewing room!!!!! It's great!!!

  3. LOVE that wall grouping! AND THAT SEWING ROOM!!!!

I just started sewing, so I feel like I'm a fish out of water! BUT, one day, I hope to do this enough to need an entire room! (and it will probably be pink and black...my favorite color combo!)

  5. Pretty living room! I love that you have a sewing room. I think it must be so nice to have a room devoted to a hobby...a nice place to get away! I looked at some of your posts while I was at your blog looking at your rooms, and I will be back. You and your husband are too cute...and so are your dogs!

  14. Thanks for sharing pics of your beautiful living room! The two couches idea is great--we have one comfy couch and one cold, leather love seat that no one likes to sit on. Your sewing space is wonderful--I always have projects going on, and unfortunately they are usually all messy on the dining table! I'd love to have a "project room"!
