before I did something STUPID with my new machine.
Look what happened today...
What in the world was I thinking??? Chad had already warned me to be careful and not stick my fingers in there while it was stitching.....but I didn't listen. I was trying to get a loose thread out of the way, and the needle bar caught my finger. And, you think I would know better! I mean, HELLO....it's a big, sharp needle moving at the speed of 1,000 stitches per minute!!! Oh mercy!
It didn't hurt THAT bad when it happened, but I am sure feeling it tonight....the throbbing and the burning. This should be fun for the next few days! Poor index finger...I am so sorry. I realize your usefulness now and promise to never put you under the machine again!
In other news, we went to Target tonight and found the cutest collar for our girl in the dollar spot. Check out this preppy pup!
How cute is she? She had a bath and is now all clean and ready for bed. Now, she's probably just wishing that we would get those sheets on the bed so she can go night-night!
Gotta go watch the Office season finale....I hope there is a proposal tonight!!!!

We had to tape The Office tonight (yes, we're ancient and still use VCR tapes - ha ha), so I'm off to watch it.

Yikes! My fingers curled up in pain just looking at that picture. I hope the recovery is quick and not too painful!
ReplyDeleteoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oh faith the pain that i feel right now...is from past experiences...when i was a fashion design major...oh just talking about it makes me hurt....i got the side of my finger stabbed with my needle 3 times in one day!!!!!! i thought I was going to kick my machine. oh i bless your heart dear!!!!!
